Techniques of Management Engineering

Description:  This is a first textbook in support of basic efficiency engineering applications within management.  This includes techniques for optimizing both management structures and management operations.  It is a practitioner’s introduction for use in BSIE programs – where it expands basic industrial engineering into the performance of the work of management.  These same efficiency techniques are basic management applications suitable for MBA programs – where it adds an efficiency optimization capability to other areas of management expertise.

Availability:  This textbook is complete; and is available in printed form only.  It can be ordered in retail through www.amazon.com, www.iienet.org and through other commercial providers.  It is wholesaled through The Management Upgrade Shop.  Additional information is available at the textbook website http://tome_textbook.home.att.net.

Evaluation copies are available to educational institutions in the United States and Canada upon request.  To receive your copy, email your request to tome_textbook@worldnet.att.net, including the complete mailing address of the person to receive the copy.

As of this 1-Jan-2006 update, a limited number of Assignment Seminar Adventures on CD are available, and will be shipped with an evaluation copy of the textbook

When there is sufficient demand, printing will also be initiated in England.

Only a few schools have requested this work in the first few months that it has been available.  There is still great advantage from being a leader in use of this new material.

New Effort:  An obvious enhancement for this textbook is a test and method of gaining certification for those who would apply management engineering techniques.  This development effort has begun.
